Bandar seri begawan: A recall order has been issued for another infant formula product as a precautionary measure following the detection of cereulide toxin. However, the Brunei Darussalam Food Authority, BDFA, confirms that none of the affected brands or batches were imported commercially into the country.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the products involved are Dumex Dulac Stage One and Dumex Dulac Stage Two, both originating from Thailand. While these products have not been commercially imported into Brunei, authorities advise members of the public who have purchased these products overseas and brought them into the country for personal use, or acquired them through an online platform, to stop using them immediately.
The recall is aimed at ensuring safety and preventing any potential health risks associated with the consumption of the affected infant formula products. The BDFA's announcement underscores the importance of vigilance when purchasing products from international sources.
