IBTE Celebrates 31st Convocation with Khatam Al-Qur’an and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony

KAMPUNG SERUSOP — In a spiritual prelude to its 31st Convocation Ceremony, the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) honored its 336 graduands with a Khatam Al-Qur’an and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony. This event took place at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque, marking a moment of reflection and gratitude for the students’ accomplishments.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Haji Mohd Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman, the President of the Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) and a Member of the IBTE Board of Governors, graced the ceremony. The event featured a Dikir Marhaban performance and culminated in the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran. The annual ceremony underscores the institution’s commitment to instilling a reverence for the Al-Quran and promoting its reading as a daily practice among students.
