Maguindanao del Norte — Representative Bai Dimple Mastura and House Majority Leader Manuel Jose M. Dalipe stated on Thursday that the House of Representatives is forging a closer bond with the Filipino people under the stewardship of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.
According to Philippines News Agency, increased goodwill is attributed to the diligent and unwavering work of Speaker Romualdez. She cited several surveys, including those from the Social Weather Stations (SWS), Pulse Asia, and the latest OCTA poll from September 30 to October 4, which collectively illustrate a marked improvement in the Speaker's trust and satisfaction scores. In the OCTA poll, Romualdez's trust rating was reported at 60 percent, with a satisfaction rating of 61 percent.
Mastura stated that these improving ratings are a clear indicator of public recognition for Romualdez’s outcomes-focused leadership, fostering a deeper connection with the legislature and better comprehension of the government's policies among citizens.
Echoing these sentiments, Dalipe highlighted in a separate statement that the high performance and trust ratings of the Speaker reflect the success of his leadership style, which prioritizes unity and collaborative efforts for the progress of the Filipino people. He attributed the favorable OCTA poll results to Romualdez’s substantial and impactful leadership that has significantly contributed to the expeditious enactment of people-centric and anti-poverty laws.
Dalipe underscored the significance of these ratings, asserting they serve as a testament to the dedication and team spirit of House members, with Speaker Romualdez setting a positive example. He affirmed that the House of Representatives has become the genuine representation of the "House of the People" under Romualdez’s guidance.
