Bandar Seri Begawan: In the efforts to increase the importance of cybersecurity awareness within educational institutions in the country, the Brunei Cybersecurity Association (BCSA), in cooperation with the Department of Private Education (JPS) under the Ministry of Education, organized the Handing Over Ceremony of Trend Micro antivirus license. The ceremony was held at Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri on 17th March 2025.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was a significant part of the campaigns aimed at enhancing cybersecurity infrastructure within educational institutions. In addition to the handing over of antivirus licenses, the event featured talk sessions focused on the importance of improving cybersecurity measures in schools and other educational settings. These initiatives are seen as crucial steps towards safeguarding digital environments and raising awareness about cybersecurity challenges and solutions among students and educators.
