Haj and Umrah Course for 2025 Season Commences Across All Districts

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Haji and Umrah Course for the 2025 Haj Season commenced simultaneously across all districts on January 17, 2025. Organized by the Haj Affairs Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the 10-day course is scheduled to conclude on February 16.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in Brunei Muara District, the course is conducted at several locations including the Lambak Kanan Religious Hall, Jalan 1; Pengiran Anak Puteri Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam Religious School; Pengiran Anak Puteri Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah Religious School, and Sungai Besar Religious School. In the Tutong District, sessions are held at Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School, while in the Temburong District, the Temburong Arabic School hosts the course.

In the Belait District, the course is taking place at Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Religious School in Kuala Belait. The Haj and Umrah Course aims to prepare intending haj pilgrims by teaching the Manasik Haj both theoretically and practically, ensuring they can perform the religious act in an organized and correct manner.
