Bandar Seri Begawan: Four individuals were each fined $100 after being found guilty of offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act (Chapter 30), following an investigation into a closed-circuit camera recording at Jerudong Beach. The individuals involved are Indonesians, Bambang Kariyadi and Akhmad Rifai, and local citizens Mohammad Nazrin Maheredi bin Hj Mahadi and Muhammad Nur Hadi bin Mohd. Ariffin.
According to Radio Television Brunei, another local man, Mohammad Norazlin bin Asfar, was fined $1,000 under the same act during the Operasi Sepadu in RPN Kampung Mentiri. He was ordered to settle the fine within seven days, failing which the case will be brought to court.
