Flag Hoisting Ceremonies Mark 41st National Day Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan: Flag Hoisting Ceremonies in conjunction with the 41st National Day Celebration continue to be held by various parties in the country. This morning, Penghulu Mukim and Village Heads of Mukim Gadong ‘A’ and Gadong ‘B’ organised a Flag Hoisting Ceremony at Kampung Rimba Dua, Mukim Gadong ‘A’. Among those present was Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad Ali bin Tanjong, Member of the Legislative Council. The event coincided with the handover of national flags to selected village residents.

According to Radio Television Brunei, a similar ceremony was also held at Mukim Kilanas Community Hall by Zone Four, Brunei Muara District. Present were Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, and Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Mohamed, Members of the Legislative Council.

Politeknik Brunei also organised a Flag Hoisting ceremony. Present was Pengiran Doctor Saiful Baharin bin Pengiran Haji Duraman, Acting Director of Politeknik Brunei.
