Certification Training Enhances Auditing Skills for Plant Commodities
Bandar Seri Begawan: The Biosecurity and Market Access Division of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism recently organized a Certification Training on Auditing for Plant Commodities Inspection related to Biosecurity and Food Safety Measures. The 5-day training at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism aimed to strengthen the role of competent authorities, who oversee the industry and prepare industry players not only for domestic growth but also for export readiness.
According to Radio Television Brunei, on hand to present the certificates to 25 participants was Dayang Noralinda binti Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Permanent Secretary TWO at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The training will equip participants with the necessary expertise to enhance their knowledge and develop practical skills as Good Agricultural Practices, GAP auditors for plant commodities. The training addressed the increasing concerns about food safety and quality in agricultural products, ensuring consumers have access to safe and high-quality food.
