The three day Fiesta De Le Munin which starts today is hoped promote agricultural products especially local fruits. The event is open from 7 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon at AMAS SAMASA Building in Kampung Lamunin, Tutong District.
The Fiesta was launched by Awang Ajmin bin Haji Meludin, Acting Tutong District Officer. Organised for the second time by Perusahaan AMAS Lamunin in collaboration with Mukim and Kampung Lamunin Consultative Councils, it included a 34-kilometre cycling recreation flag off towards Tasek Merimbun which started and ended at AMAS SAMASA, and followed by the Bukit Kota trail hiking recreation.
Over 20 local entrepreneurs from the mukim and village as well as the surrounding residents took part in the fiesta. The King of Fruits, Durian was certainly the fruit of choice for the visitors, aside from the sales of various local fruits and vegetables.
A photography exhibition by the Brunei Darussalam Photography Association was also held as well as sales of the Mukim and Village’s products.
