Through moderated dialogue, the Energy Seminar seeks to strengthen cooperation and reaffirm commitment to achieve a low carbon economy at a national and regional level. This morning's seminar was filled with presentation on case studies.
The case studies provided insights on various aspects including Scaling-Up and Accelerating Deployment of Renewable Energy and Cross-Border Power Interconnection in Brunei Darussalam. The panel of experts shared their knowledge and deliberated on several aspects such as regulation, financing methods and capacity development surrounding energy transition.
In the afternoon, a discussion entitled 'Emerging Technologies for Clean Energy Future' among others highlighted the latest trend in the carbon capture, utilisation and storage, CCUS technologies that are being adopted by the energy industry players. Several other energy related topics will be discussed tomorrow.
