The Republic of Turkiye and Syrian Arab Republic Earthquake Humanitarian Fund today received donations of more than three hundred and 3 thousand dollars from the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs and telecommunication companies, namely Datastream Digital Sendirian Berhad, DST; Progresif Sendirian Berhad and Imagine Sendirian Berhad. The donation presentation ceremony was held this morning at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
On hand to receive the donations were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs AND Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as Co-Advisors of the Republic of Turkiye and Syrian Arab Republic Earthquake Humanitarian Fund. The Mosque Affairs Department handed over donations totalling more than 132 thousand dollars from 116 donation boxes placed at mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. Meanwhile, DST Sendirian Berhad presented over 138 thousand dollars; Progresif Sdn Bhd donated more than 31 thousand dollars AND Imagine Sdn Bhd more than 870 dollars.
