Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony Marks 151st World Post Day Celebration
Berakas: The Postal Services Department held a special ceremony at the International Airport Surau in Berakas to mark the 151st World Post Day. The event, which took place on the afternoon of October 9th, featured the reading of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, and a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony, highlighting the significance and role of postal services in society.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Transport at the Ministry of Transport and Info-communications. The event also included the mass fardhu Asar prayer. This year’s celebration is themed “Post For People: Local Service. Global Reach,” underscoring the importance of postal services as a public utility with a global reach.
