Dikir Maulud continue to echo at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam. On 2nd October night, a delegation from the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications held such a ceremony at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The event continued with the reading of Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Bisyahrin.
