Dikir Maulidur Rasul Ceremony

Dikir Maulud ceremonies further enliven the the Maulidur Rasul celebration aside from commemorating the Prophet’s deeds and sacrifices in spreading Islamic eminence.

The Ministry of Health held a Dikir ceremony on 20th Seotember night, jointly organised with the Management of Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health.

The institute of Brunei Technical Education and the Department of Educators Management also held such a ceremony at Ar-Rahim Mosque in Kampung Bukit Panggal, Tutong District. Leading the delegation was Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The ceremony coincided with the presentation of endowment.

The delegation from the the Ministry of Religious Affairs continued the Ihya Maulidur Rasul on 20th September late afternoon, at Kampung Belais Mosque in Temburong District. The delegation was led by Awang Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The Muallaf Development Division, Muallaf Empowerment, Islamic Da’wah Centre also organised a similar event at Kampong Sibut Religious Hall, Temburong District. Leading the delegation was Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of Islamic Da’wah Centre.
