Development Expenditure Approved by Legislative Council

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Members of the Legislative Council approved the Allocation for the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications before deliberating on the Development Expenditure.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council, stated that the Development Expenditure had been discussed during the allocation deliberations of the relevant ministries, and consequently, the topic did not require further deliberation. The members of the council unanimously approved the Development Expenditure.

The Bill called An Act to Supply an amount From the Consolidated Fund For the Financial Year 2025/2026 and to allocate the sum for specific purposes, proposed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, was also approved.
