Sison mentioned that the department is continuing to validate additional beneficiaries to determine their eligibility, focusing on the “poorest of the poor.”
DAR-11’s Officer-in-Charge, Jazon Collado, detailed the operational progress, noting that eight out of 32 beneficiaries have been installed in their respective landholdings, and 277 of 659 landholdings have been validated, covering 1,004 hectares. This is part of a broader effort that involves validating a total area of 2,709 hectares.
The agency also highlighted the integration of infrastructure projects like farm-to-market roads (FMR) and the Tulay ng Pangulo (President’s Bridge) program, which significantly enhance the transport of agricultural produce to local markets. Specifically, 3,403 beneficiaries in Davao City are expected to benefit from these developments.
