Post: Delegation from Timor-Leste Visits Brunei Fertilizer Industries

Bandar seri begawan: A delegation from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, led by Vice Prime Minister Francisco Kalbuadi Lay and Vice Prime Minister Mariano Assanami Sabino, visited Brunei Fertilizer Industries Sendirian Berhad (BFI). They were welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, who is also the Chairman of BFI. According to Radio Television Brunei, the visiting delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the operations of BFI, particularly focusing on its production of ammonia and urea. The visit included a tour of the factory, the Central Control Room, and the Safety Park. The delegation was also joined by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Bendito dos Santos Freitas and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Francisco da Costa Monteiro.
