In his titah, the Sultan expressed a desire for Islamic values and the nation’s heritage to remain central to UBD’s mission and direction.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Sultan highlighted that UBD’s strength lies not just in its name and ideas, but in its enduring spirit and the impact it makes on the country. The Monarch stated that if UBD continues to uphold these values, it will signify a university of quality. The Sultan began his address by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala for the opportunity to attend the convocation and extend heartfelt congratulations to the graduates for their academic achievements.
