Bandar Seri Begawan: 135 employees of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) have successfully completed a comprehensive emergency response training program. The training, which focused on first aid and fire safety, is part of BIBD's ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and prepared workplace environment.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the training aimed to equip BIBD employees with essential skills to handle emergencies effectively. Awang Haji Muhammad Yusri bin Haji Wahsalfelah, BIBD's Head of Government Relations and Special Projects, highlighted in his speech that the initiative is aligned with BIBD's vision to cultivate a workplace that emphasizes both physical safety and mental wellness.
The program concluded with a certificate presentation, where 70 employees were awarded certificates for completing the First Aid training, while another 65 employees received certificates for the Fire Warden course. This initiative reinforces the bank's dedication to enhancing the overall well-being of its workforce.
