Post: Cebu Police Seize Nearly PHP10 Million Worth of ‘Shabu,’ Arrest Two Suspects

Cebu City, Philippines - A student and a high-value drug personality were arrested in Cebu City during two separate police operations, leading to the seizure of almost PHP10 million worth of suspected shabu. Major Jonathan Taneo, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cebu City Police Office, reported the confiscation of 1.4 kilos of illegal drugs from the suspects, identified as alias 'Udot', an 18-year-old student, and Renan Terana Pardo, 31, a high-value target on the drug watchlist.

According to Philippines News Agency, Pardo was apprehended near his residence in Barangay Bulacao early Monday, with police recovering 1.02 kg of suspected shabu valued at PHP6.9 million. 'Udot' was arrested on Sunday night inside a Chinese cemetery in Barangay Carreta, where he lived with his family. He was found in possession of 405 grams of shabu, estimated to be worth PHP2.7 million. Taneo highlighted Pardo's status on the Cebu City Police Office's drug watchlist as a high-value individual. Both suspects are now facing drug-related charges following their arrest.
