Business in Tutong District Fails Compliance Inspection

Bandar Seri Begawan – A joint inspection conducted by the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (DEPS) and the Measures and Weights Unit, Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Tutong District, has found a business premise in non-compliance with the Weights and Measures Act 1983 Chapter 151.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Syarikat Usaha Tasbih Mini Mart @ Usaha Tasbih Pasar Raya was issued Seizure Notices for using measuring and weighing tools that had their registration cancelled. The company is now required to visit the SDT Unit office within seven working days from the date the Notice was issued to address and rectify the issue.
