Jerudong - Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) and QAF Auto Sendirian Berhad have formed a partnership to cater to the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EV) in Brunei. The collaboration focuses on promoting sustainability and innovation, particularly in supporting EV owners with their charging needs. A contract signing ceremony for Shell Recharge and BMW offerings was held at BRIDEX Hall on the morning of 9th December.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The event was witnessed by Awang Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, and Co-Chairman of the Electric Vehicle Joint Taskforce. Signing on behalf of BSM was its Managing Director, Awang Muhammad Norshafiee bin Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, while Alisa Khoo, General Manager of QAF Auto, represented her company. The partnership aims to provide a comprehensive experience for BMW EV owners, including access to home charger assessments and installation services that adhere to global safety standards.
