Bruneians Embark on Umrah Pilgrimage During December Holidays

Bandar Seri Begawan – December marks a significant period for Muslims worldwide, with many choosing this month to perform the Umrah. In Brunei Darussalam, the end of the year school holidays presents an opportune time for the faithful to embark on this pilgrimage. On the morning of December 2nd, nearly two hundred Umrah pilgrims from Brunei departed for the holy land. These pilgrims are utilizing travel packages offered by Darussalam Holdings, Al-Hijrah Travel Tours Sendirian Berhad, Continental Yachting Sedirian Berhad, and Strait Central Agencies Sendirian Berhad.

According to Radio Television Brunei, to facilitate a smooth and enriching Umrah experience, various activities are organized by the relevant agencies for the pilgrims during their stay in the Holy Land. These include lectures and visits to historical sites in Makkah and Madinah.
