Bruneian Chefs Excel at Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur – Bruneian chefs, Dayang Rohana binti Mahmud and Awang Hardey bin Haji Husain, triumphed at the 3rd Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia, recently held in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Dayang Rohana clinched a gold medal and a trophy in the Rendang Cooking Challenge Category and a bronze in the general Rendang Category. Awang Hardey earned a silver and a bronze medal in the Chicken and Lamb Rendang categories, respectively. The competition served as a platform for chefs to enhance skills and promote food culture, fostering international culinary exchange and encouraging future culinary talents.
