BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association, in collaboration with the Scouts Amateur Radio Club and the Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio Association (B-DARA), celebrated Scouts Amateur Radio Day on August 11th at the Scouts Complex in Jalan Gadong. The event highlighted the importance of amateur radio technology and aimed to enhance the communication skills of participants.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The inauguration of the event was officiated by Dato Paduka Architect Awang Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, president of the association. The celebration of Amateur Radio Day served as a platform to introduce participants to new hobbies and skills, provide practical experience, and foster better communication with individuals from various countries. This initiative is part of the Scouts' ongoing efforts to integrate modern technology into scouting activities, enhancing both educational and practical experiences for the youth involved.
