Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with World Meteorological Day, the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD) of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications organized a tree planting activity on the morning of October 30. This initiative supports the Green Protocol Guidelines, which align with the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, participated in the event, which commenced with a warm-up session. During the activity, 50 ‘Bucida Green’ saplings and 15 ‘Gardenia’ flowering plants were planted. The event was held at the BDMD Weather Radar Building in Kampung Melabau.
