Brunei and Peru Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Establish Bilateral Consultations.
Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty and Her Excellency witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of His Majesty and the Government of the Republic of Peru. The MoU aims to establish a mechanism for bilateral consultations, strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both countries. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed the document on behalf of the Government of His Majesty. His Excellency Elmer José Germán Gonzalo Schialer Salcedo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Peru.
The agreement marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic collaboration and dialogue between Brunei and Peru. The establishment of a mechanism for bilateral consultations is expected to facilitate discussions on various issues of mutual in
terest, paving the way for closer cooperation in the future.
