Bandar Seri Begawan: 61 pints of blood were collected during the Blood Donation Campaign organised by the Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, the campaign was participated by the public as well as officers and staff of the ministry.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the blood donation campaign was part of the Day of Action Campaign, providing an opportunity for donors to help increase the blood reserve at the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital. The initiative forms part of the joint efforts to promote social responsibility towards the community and aims to make the practice of donating blood a lifelong health habit.
