This accolade underscores BIBD's commitment to sustainability and its support for Wawasan Brunei 2035. Additionally, BIBD continues to focus on empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises, investing in people, and driving positive social impact.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, and Chairman of BIBD, remarked that the recognition brings significant responsibility. It strengthens BIBD's resolve to not only continue providing exceptional Islamic banking services but also to contribute to the economic development and social well-being of Brunei. The award was accepted by Awang Junaidi bin Haji Masri, BIBD's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, at a ceremony in London.
