Attends Meeting and High-Tea Reception

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, on 19th August afternoon, met and attended a high tea reception with Heads of Malaysian Multinational Corporations at the Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur. During the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed the Malaysian Multinational Corporations to explore opportunities in new areas of cooperation that are of mutual interest. This includes developing placement programmes for Bruneian students and educators in these corporations towards enhancing their experience and skills in the country’s priority areas particularly in supporting economic diversification and towards achieving goals under the Wawasan 2035.

The corporations, comprised various sectors such as energy, health and finance, are Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS); Tenaga Nasional Berhad; Maybank; KPJ Healthcare Berhad; Pharmaniaga Berhad; Khazanah Nasional Berhad; and
DRB-HICOM Berhad. Also present were representatives from the Government of Malaysia namely the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Higher Education. Following the meeting, a High Tea Reception was held, whereby His Royal Highness had the opportunity to meet and greet the Heads of Malaysian Multinational Corporations.
