Bandar Seri Begawan: The Zakat, Wakaf and Baitulmal Affairs Department, in collaboration with Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, has introduced the Asnaf Zakat Entrepreneurial Skills Programme under the Asnaf Zakat Empowerment Programmes. This initiative aims to support the poor and destitute Asnaf by equipping them with essential entrepreneurial skills.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme is designed to provide comprehensive and systematic training across three phases. Participants will be given the necessary tools and resources to start their own businesses upon completing the training. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to help Asnaf achieve independence and lead more stable lives.
