As-Syahadah Muallaf Youth Hosts ‘Iftar Mahabbah’ Programme at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah

Bandar Seri Begawan: To allow non-Muslims to gain a closer understanding of the mosque and learn about the ibadah, or acts of worship performed by Muslims, the As-Syahadah Muallaf Youth under the Youth Religious Programme, Islamic Da’wah Centre, organized the ‘Iftar Mahabbah’ Programme. The event took place at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme included participation from Yang Berhormat Dayang Chong Chin Yee, a Member of the Legislative Council. Highlights of the event included the reading of Quranic verses and a talk before the breaking of the fast. Prior to this, attendees participated in the Mosque Tour Programme, which featured a brief briefing on the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah and a guided tour of the mosque in groups.
