The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food has organised the 6th Potential Youth Exposure to Venture in High Technology Agriculture Field Programme. The virtual programme started on 1st December, and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday until the 30th of December.
Divided into two sessions, namely briefing session and visits to the farms of local entrepreneurs, the programme focuses on several production systems and technologies suitable with the capabilities of youth farmers. The objective is to attract the interest of youths to engage in agriculture and expose agricultural enterprises as a profitable business, especially in the field of crop industry using high technology systems to increase agricultural output.
