Identifying students' personality compatibility with their future career was presented during a career briefing at the UNISSA Career Carnival Activity in conjunction with the 12th Mahrajan Hafl al-Takharruj, yesterday.

The briefing aimed to assist students and alumni in making decisions and actions in choosing a more accurate career. Another briefing titled "Success Coaching Find You Why" touched on the approach in preparing to apply for a job easily. Some participants thought the briefing gave a more in-depth explanation on current job requirements.

The Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA through the UNISSA Press has so far published 338 books. 28 new books were launched during the 12th UNISSA Mahrajan Haflut Takharruj. Of the total, 12 books are in Malay, eight in English and four in Arabic. Six journals were also published. The books published by UNISSA are intended to be academic materials and reference sources for the community, especially academic researchers.

Among the new book titles were, 'Balai Cerap Astronomi: Menjunjung Wahyu Mengukuh Tamadun' or Astronomy Observatory: Upholding the Commandments to Strengthen Civilisation; Introduction to International Human Rights Law and Introduction to the Science of Halalan Thayyiban.

The issues and challenges in life were presented during a Hiwar Tarbawi or forum-style discussion organised by the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB yesterday afternoon. This is the first time the Hiwar was held.

The Hiwar titled 'Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah dan Isu Aliran Pemikiran Semasa' was discussed by three speakers from KUPU SB namely Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Ra'es of KUPU SB as the forum moderator; Associate Professor Doctor Yusuf Khalid, from the Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah Centre of Research and Understanding and Doctor Mikdar Rusdi, Senior Assistant Professor of the Usuluddin Faculty. The Hiwar among others explained in detail the history and background of the Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah, namely Syafie, Hanafi, Hambali and Maliki.
