Youth Exposure to High-Tech Agriculture Celebrated with Certificate Presentation

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, BRUNEI — The 9th Youth Exposure Programme for High-Tech Agriculture concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony at the Post Harvest Training and Service Centre, Kampung Tungku Agricultural Development Area Office. This initiative highlights the potential for profitable investment in high-tech agricultural systems that can boost crop yields significantly.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Acting Director of Agriculture and Agri-Food, emphasized the importance of engaging youth in agriculture during the ceremony. He mentioned that the program, which lasted five days and included 25 participants, aims to cultivate innovative and productive young entrepreneurs who can contribute to increasing Brunei’s Gross Domestic Product in the agricultural sector. The program is part of ongoing efforts to modernize farming practices and enhance food security in the region.
