Post: Young Parliamentarians of AIPA Make Courtesy Call to Legislative Council Speaker

Bandar seri begawan: The Young Parliamentarians of AIPA (YPA) from the Malaysia Parliament visited the Speaker of the Legislative Council at the Dewan Majlis Building on the morning of August 13. During this courtesy call, discussions centered on the role of young leaders, including Members of Parliament, as crucial channels for the younger generation to express their views and contribute to both national and regional development. Both parties emphasized their joint commitment to enhancing cooperation to build a more inclusive future for upcoming generations.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the courtesy call was hosted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib. The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, a Member of the Malaysia Parliament and Chairman of the YPA Committee. Their discussions also addressed education issues, including unemployment and employment opportunity gaps, reflecting a shared concern for the future of young people in the region.
