Post: Wushu Secures Brunei’s First Gold Medal at SEA Games

Bangkok: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, SEA Games Federation Honorary Life President and President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, presented the medals for the Wushu event at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. The event was held at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, where Brunei achieved a significant milestone by securing its first gold medal in the competition.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Mohammad Adi Salihin bin Roslan claimed the gold medal in the Men Nanquan, Nandao, and Nangun Wushu Event. He amassed an impressive 9.773 points, bringing his total score to 29.329 points, which secured his top spot on the podium.

The medal presentation was conducted by His Royal Highness. The silver medal was awarded to Singapore, while Malaysia took home the bronze, showcasing the competitive spirit and skills of athletes across the region.
