Islamabad: World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is being observed today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the theme of the day this year is "Keeping Humanity Alive around the world". The day is marked to celebrate the principles and values of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of volunteers and staff worldwide.
