World Cancer Day Highlights Unique Patient Needs in Cancer Care

Bandar Seri Begawan: This year’s World Cancer Day theme, ‘United by Unique’, focused on acknowledging the diverse experiences faced by individuals in cancer care. The Head of Medical Oncology and Palliative Care Unit at the Brunei Cancer Centre, Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), highlighted that the theme reflects the fact that each cancer patient has a distinct condition.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the theme aims to foster a deeper understanding within the community about the specific needs of each cancer patient. The initiative encourages collective efforts to provide optimal support and care tailored to individual circumstances.
