Bandar Seri Begawan: The importance of nurturing talent to foster a dynamic and sustainable economy was a central theme at the World Bank Talent Outreach Programme, held at the Pro Chancellor Arts Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme highlighted the need to prepare local youth with global exposure and competencies to support Wawasan Brunei 2035. Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, was among the attendees. This initiative, organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Manpower Planning Office, Prime Minister’s Office, and UBD, in collaboration with the World Bank, marks the first such partnership between the World Bank and Brunei Darussalam. It reflects Brunei’s ongoing commitment to equipping its youth and professionals with opportunities provided by global institutions.

his year’s theme focusing on sustainable development and encouraging youth involvement in global institutions. Additionally, career briefings were conducted to provide guidance on the application and recruitment process for the World Bank.
