Workshop Aims to Improve Rehabilitation Techniques for Former Inmates
Kiulap: The Aftercare Support Association (AFSA) organized a workshop aimed at enhancing skills and problem-solving techniques for assisting former inmates. The event, held on the morning of February 10, was designed for associations, government, and private agencies. Titled ‘Efficacy of Rehabilitation and Reintegration in Managing Former Inmates,’ the workshop was inaugurated by Dayang Nor Hamidah binti Haji Hamidon, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Security and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop focused on the latest rehabilitation methods to aid former inmates and shared effective skills and techniques practiced in the region. The initiative underscores the commitment to improving the support systems available to individuals reintegrating into society after incarceration.
