A career as a Fire and Rescue personnel requires agility in facing any emergency situation, apart from to taking care of public safety and property if a fire occurred. Yesterday morning, the students of Bandahara Lama Mukim Tamoi Primary School had the opportunity to learn the duties and responsibilities of the Fire and Rescue Team during the Work Day event in conjunction with the English Language Month, which was held at the school.
The briefing on the duties and roles of fire fighters and rescuers among those delivered during the programme. Also held, the presentation of certificates of appreciation to teachers and school staffs for their services in dealing with emergencies during the fire at the school. Throughout the programme, the students also had the opportunity to use fire extinguisher.
