Post: Water Supply Disruptions Due to Pipe Research and Sump Tank Cleaning

Bandar seri begawan: Water pipe research works at the Salambigar Industry Tank catchment are scheduled for June 24, leading to potential water supply disruptions or low water pressure in several areas. The Public Works Department has announced that these works will commence at 9 AM and conclude by 12 PM. The areas expected to be affected include Salambigar Industrial, Jalan Utama Tanah Jambu, Youth Development Centre, and surrounding regions.

According to Radio Television Brunei, simultaneous sump tank cleaning works at the Chempaka tank will also take place on June 24, starting from 9 AM until completion. The cleaning is expected to cause low water pressure, particularly in higher altitude areas. The affected areas include the entirety of Jalan Chempaka and its surrounding locales.

To mitigate the impact of these disruptions, the department will provide blue water tanks at the court near the Chempaka Tank. Residents in need of water supply assistance can contact Talian Darussalam at 123.
