Bandar Seri Begawan – Several areas in the Tutong District of Brunei Darussalam have been experiencing water supply disruptions or low water pressure, particularly in higher regions, following emergency repair work on leaking water pipes near the Sungai Burong tank.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development, in its press release, identified the affected areas as Mukim Rambai, Mukim Lamunin, Mukim Kiudang, and part of Mukim Keriam. To mitigate the impact, the department has placed blue tanks at two locations: Tasik Merimbun Heritage Park, near Panchong Primary School, and Balai Raya Gong Tiga, Kampung Lamunin.
