Walkathon Connects Congregants Across Six Mosques in Kilanas

Bandar Seri Begawan – A unique ‘Hijrah Milal Masjid Ilal Masjid’ walkathon was held in Mukim Kilanas, marking the Ilal Hijrah 1446 with community spirit and physical fitness.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Mukim and Kampung Kilanas Consultative Council, the event drew congregants from six local mosques to participate in this meaningful journey. The walkathon was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, a Member of the Legislative Council.

The event not only celebrated the new Islamic year but also aimed to foster a sense of unity and cooperation among the participants, enhancing community ties through a shared cultural and religious experience.
