Mentiri: The two-day Voting and Selection of Penghulu for Mukim Mentiri concluded on April 5, 2026. Organized by the Brunei Muara District Office, the event was held at the Mentiri Community Hall.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, was present during the proceedings. The election featured six candidates vying for the position of Penghulu Mukim Mentiri. The outcomes of the voting process will be forwarded to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for Penghulu Mukim and Village Head at the Ministry of Home Affairs, which will oversee the subsequent steps.
