Mukim gadong ‘a’: Residents of Zone One, Rimba Landless Indigenous Citizens’ Housing Scheme, actively participated in the Village Head Voting and Selection event. This event took place on the morning of August 31st at Sekolah Alif Rimba.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Eddy Eswaddi bin Wasli was the sole candidate for the Village Head position. The selection event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad Ali bin Tanjong, a Member of the Legislative Council, and Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. The results from this voting process will be forwarded to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for Penghulu Mukim and Village Head, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, for subsequent processing.
