Updated Service Charge Enforced Immediately

Bandar Seri Begawan: Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health in the motion of vote of thanks highlighted that by His Majesty’s care, attentiveness, and leadership towards the citizens and residents’ welfare and well-being, the Ministry of Health will update the existing service charge for permanent residents who are stateless.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the overall policy change will be implemented immediately. With this, the registration fee for stateless permanent residents will only be one dollar instead of three dollars. Besides that, specialist treatment consultation including stroke, cardiovascular, and cancer, as well as service charges will be coordinated with the Ministry of Health’s payment scheme for Brunei Darussalam citizens, which are free.
