Two Local Men Detained for Possessing Contraband in Temburong District.

Temburong: Two local men were detained by Personnel of Bangar Police Station for possessing contraband during monitoring in the Kampung Buda-Buda area in Temburong District. The monitoring was conducted following information received regarding smuggling activity in the area.

According to Radio Television Brunei, as a result of the monitoring, 24 bottles of alcoholic drinks and 50 cartons of cigarettes were found in a vehicle. All contraband was confiscated, and the two suspects were detained for further investigation.
