At the media conference, the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy also shared the trend of Influenza cases and Influenza-like infections or Influenza-like Illness, ILI in the past week has shown a slight reduction but the number of ILI cases is still high.
The public is reminded to remain vigilant and take preventive measures such as self-isolation if experiencing signs of infection and avoiding crowded places. See a doctor immediately if signs of infection persist or worsen. Get the Influenza vaccine, especially for those over the age of 60 and those with health problems.
